Here's another scammer, branddee88@gmail.com

He sent me pictures from a FB post dated July 2024. He was selling his Slat Grille STEEL Pintle Hook for the exit same price as the legitimate seller on the G was asking. All he wanted me to do was send him home address for shipping and pay him via Zelle or Apple Pay immediately.

He only sent the pictures when I asked for them along with his phone number. I called the number and it was not valid. He never shared his name.

Please block him from the forum.

Thanks,
Peter

Thanks Peter. Did this guy give a username? There is no branddee88@gmail.com in the member list.

Looks like the system for e mails using your listed email address has changed. Anyway, i have at least 2 emails from guys who want to buy stuff and one answering a transport post. I dont see a member list to trace a member name, and in the other mail and he is refering it to someone else. I dont deal hidden behind emails so if that guy is reading this, answer me on this webseite with a pm or something. Not going to post their names as i am not sure, but not looking to get taken.

He does not have a user name on the G but I tracked him to India FB via the phone number that was on the pictures he sent.

He tried his best to convince me he was legit once I accused him of being a scammer but he would never completely answer my questions.

I simply told him I'm not interested and to never contact me again.

I just donated to a guy who goes by the name Robben using the email robbenpoppy@gmail.com

I posted a wanted to buy post, and three or four days later, I received an email from G503 saying he had what I wanted. I asked for photos, and he sent me some. I saw all the signs, but I did it anyway because I really wanted the item. Two tries on PayPal, once to the robbenpoppy@gmail.com address, and once to the address rodeotimedale@gmail.com (Dale at RodeoTime.com is a Bull rider). Neither email address worked or was declined. Then he switched to Zelle, using the email Gus_vel97@yahoo.com (Gustavo Velazquez is a Paraguayan soccer player). That went through, bye bye $100.

Bill found the account and deleted it. He was a repeat offender.

Posted so, if any of you see the above email accounts or whatever, you can save yourself

James Writh with an email. writh46@gmail.com

Said he had a bc-721b chassis. Said he didn’t use PayPal just cashapp and Zelle

Used radio pics posted on G503 13 years ago.

When I asked for a pic of the bottom he used a pic from a proto type radio pic.

He was also added to the stopspamforum database

G503 users "in doubts" should search through that database.

More unfortunate news gentlemen.
TheOnlyMasterChef says he was just scammed on here via the post I made selling my three m72a7s LAWs. I emailed him via the contact in g503 since he doesn't have enough participation yet for PMs. From the email I sent to him(on the 22nd) to him reaching (on the 24th) out to me was two days. Some one claimed to be me and he didn't verify with any extra info. The guy used two different emails for PayPal the first to get payment then the second to try and shake him down for extra shipping. That is when he began to suspect something amiss. He reached out to me via the the forum email contact.
The dipshicks email is Ressparts137@gmail.com
The the two PayPal's he used in order was bellachris245@gmail.com and emmanuel36688@gmail.com

If anyone gets emails from this shuker be aware.

If I am selling anything I will anyways have proof of possession and ID and will call/video call any time.

Yotaman, thank you for reporting this here. None of those three email addresses are associated with members here. My best guess is a sleeper member is either helping these scammers of is a scammer himself with multiple email addresses.

Just another reason to be extremely careful and diligent.

The commo section has a scammer in it. Bc-659 with case. Ran through the gauntlet with the guy.

I really think people should not be able to sell in the webpage till they have become a Sgt or lieutenant. Gives time for people to be vetted or what ever. I just ran through another issue with a g-civilian. Its about the 3rd time ive taken that risk(thank goodness I didnt lose money on my past issues). But dealt with a Sgt member and the transaction went flawless. Seems if a scammer has to wait till a rank status they will get bored and leave. My 2 cents.

(originally posted on the 2-1/2 ton and up page) Just an FYI to everyone, someone WHO IS NOT BRYAN tried to scam me on these mufflers this evening, and I nearly sent him $450 for 2 mufflers plus shipping. His email address is jrockjc45@gmail.com. Also Dealswithsydcarter@icloud.com. When I started questioning him he sent me a photo purporting to be himself with his Indiana drivers license, name Daniel J Anderson of Warsaw, Indiana. If the police are interested in these online scams I will be reporting him.
