Please help ID extra dash holes.

From center-to-center, the holes are about 3 5/8 x 2 3/8 inches apart.
My best guess is a tandem towbar plate?

Thanks,
Dexter

Thanks, Bill. But it's way bigger than a shipping plate.

The measurements post above are about 1/2" short both ways for the tandem towbar caution plate.

Thanks for the input, guys.

Most of the rebuild plates I've seen are rectangular:

Perhaps an Australian Census Plate? Anyone have the dimensions for one of these? I searched the forum and all I could was this:

Hi Dexter,

Try looking at page 108 of John Farley's first version " The Standardized War-Time Jeep ".

Dex,

I don't have a Farley book with me, so i`m not sure what Tom referred you to and if the following has already been provided.

Australian census plate hole spacings's are approx (i couldnt reach the tub properly!).

2 7/8" x 2", so too small for your hole spacings.

Cheers,
Ian.
