Hi Emil,
Nice project you got there! Congrats on starting your resto, my GP will have to wait until my airborne dump is finished. I know it's early in your restoration but, have you given any thought about how you are going to repair the rear section? My GP body is cut out just the same as yours and I'm just trying to see how other GP'ers plan on repairing,(or have repaired) this section. Good luck and keep posting update pics!

Hello!

My rear panel are cut out... But i have a repro i think it is Ken Hake that have make it... It´s very nice.
If your rear panel are cut out you can make one your self with a ordinary Ford GPW script logo... But a lot´s of job!
I will let a guy make the hat channels for it soon so i can begin to weld those to the body first. I hope i can borrow a spot welder from a friend of mine.
Will be nicer to make it that way.
Maurizio i will try to take some better pictures some day of the Convero trailer... But it´s standing into a wall...
Did work with The GP yesterday, but when i did take my mum to a cafe not long from my house, she did fall and i have to follow her to the hospital. She was ok, but on hospitals you have to wait sooooo long times....!!!
So this weekend i haven´t done so mutch on my GP
Here are some more pics...

Emil, other than the rear panel, the body looks relatively clean and straight with no civvy patched in panels or welded on stuff.

Where is the motor?

Does that M number on the rear quarter tell us this GP was ex-British livery? David
