Hello George,

The screw is adjusted with the steering gear straight ahead position and tighten untill a slight drag is felt when trying to turn the steering wheel. Then to check the adjustment you turn the steering full left and right and if it gets noricably stiffer as ytou approach the left and right limits you have a very worn cam (worm gear) that will need to be replaced. The reason for this odd wear is that 90 percent of the operation of the steering is in the straight ahead psotion so most wear will occur there.

ok,
so i tight the screw with the steering straight ahead and stopped when i felt the slight drag. The drag is in the center position and when i move the steering left or right is more free.Is that normal?
And about the drag link big bolts at the ends of the bar.I have to tight them until they stop and then half turn back each of them?
I feel the steering veri stiff now and i have problem in the straight driving when i make small adjustements.Because it feels something like sticky in the center.

Not unless the cam and fork are brand new. Older cams and forks are generally worn and the cam wears mostly in the middle because that is where it spends most of it's time. So when you adjust the screw on used items the center point is adjusted with only a very very SLIGHT drag. Then you should notice this drag increase as you move away from the center. I suspect if you have a used box the sector or cam bushings are bad. Something is not right.

That will work. Take care that you assemble each end correctly. Each end has the same parts but their assembly order differs.
