Re: My new project SN 2509
Got the engine to start for the first time tonight! Had a issue where I wasn't getting any oil pressure and thanks to a fellow member I found out I was missing the o-ring on the oil pick up tube. Dropped the oil pan and put it in place. Boom oil pressure! Ran to the parts store for fuel line before they closed, then checked the plugs for spark. She fired right up! The carburetor was pouring fuel out the bottom of the bowl so I took it off, opened it up and found a part that I didn't replace when I rebuilt it. Problem solved. I do need to work on tuning the carburetor and bringing the idle down. There are a few oil and gas lines that need tightening also. But I suppose that'll happen after a complete teardown.

Re: My new project SN 2509
Been a little MIA throughout the winter. Had some set backs in the shop and a role change at work that effected my ability to work on my project. I have gotten the transmission/transfer gone through and repainted. Also went through the rear differential and rebuilt the rear brakes. That's all gotten a paint job as well. Currently I got the frame stripped down and am in the process of sandblasting in prep for paint. Also, one weekend when I had nothing else to do, I was able to lightly sand the hood and find a number for it, I'll be sure to put that back on when the time comes.

Worked through the summer and fall sandblasting the frame. Finally got it stripped down, built a makeshift paint booth and frame rotisserie. Found a solid day this past month and got it painted. Now onto the control arms and leaf springs.
