Poll: WW2 USN cans

Post by Robin » Thu Jan 15, 2026 5:56 pm

I have only seen two WW2 USN jerry cans. Both are dated 1943. Davis and Wheeling are the makers. Has anyone seen any other makers or different dates?

I have both Davis and Wheeling and from memory I believe they are dated 1943. Too cold here to go drag them out right now.

I have a 42 USN Wheeling. I would trade it for a 44 USN can.
