Looking to get a MB/GPW engine from CO to WI

Hello,
I am looking for someone to transport a GPW engine long block from Colorado to southeast Wisconsin or maybe someplace in between.
Don’t mind paying cash and/or trading some Jeep parts.

Fastenal is the best and cheapest way to ship engines. Blue Lane Freight is the name of their service. The store here even gives you the pallet and straps it down. They decided that their trucks are going around the country anyway; why not take some other stuff.

I have used Blue Lane before. Unfortunately they divide the country into two (2) zones, and they dont offer shipping from zone to zone. They also have very strict rules about shipping anything that contains liquid(like an engine containing motor oil. I sold a stovebolt engine and shipped it a couple hours away ( at the buyers expense). Even though it was securely strapped to the pallet, BL still managed to tip the thing over, costing more then I sold the engine for in cleanup fees.

colorado looks to be in the east zone, no biggie, like 400 bucks, if your buyer will ship, will insure it if in a crate, i will only ship if in a crate anyway. there is paperwork that says no oil or water in the engine or you will be hit with a $300 clean up bill, i hang the engines back end up for days and let it all drip out,, and then put pigs under it or an old blanket to make sure no leaks. here in NY they will look in the crate to verify no oil,, read the requirements, here they will not help you, rude, n o skids, no tie downs, if crate is over ends of skid they will not take it, if skid is part of crate they will not take it as they want to see skid sticking out, I ship an engine a month, real pia here.

Bump…still looking for someone who may be headed east through/from CO.

Fastenal sounds like a good option, but it is several hours out of the way for the person selling the engine, and I am trying to save him some hassle/time/money.
