Hi, I'm uploading some photos of this 1956 Jeep to explain what it is. It's not an American military M606A2/A3; it's a replica, hence the "A1" separate from "M606" as shown in my avatar.
It's a variant of the CJ5, and in this case, most of its parts were imported during those years, except for the engine, which isn't a Hurricane but a 4-cylinder Continental (4L 151). Its origin is American, but it was likely discontinued and later produced in Argentina.
This Jeep was modified, though not originally, to resemble the M606A2 and A3. I mention this in case there are any questions, which is understandable.
Cheers.

Re: M606 A1 56
Thanks for the pictures; very nice jeep. Now paint it green!
I have an M606, but that one was derived from the CJ3B, and was used by the ROK Army. When I was there, the ROKs used M606s made by Mitsubishi, and they were painted gloss OD; they would come to our unit on Cp Humphreys (now 8th Army HQ), and the drivers would stand at parade rest beside the vehicles while the Officers were at meetings. After they polished them down. Being a soldier in the ROK Army then was not fun.
