I hate facebook, but unfortunately the handcart forum there is much more active than it is here. Search “WWII Hand Cart Round Up” if you haven’t found it already.
- 1917A1 Mounting brackets, straps, & hardware- Johnny Christiansen is the only source I know of for repro 1917A1 tripod brackets. Check the FB group
- M2 Browning Mounting brackets, straps, & hardware- No source I am aware of
- General purpose cargo straps and brackets- a seller on eBay makes really nice reproduction straps, search user “kneass”. I bought a set of footman loops from France since I couldn’t find the right size anywhere else: https://qmi.be/en/m3a4-handcart-dodgewc ... brass.html
- Canvas- Fox Canvas LLC on FB is making repro covers
There’s more info on correct hardware here: http://www.90thidpg.us/Equipment/Weapon ... index.html
Also here: http://www.handcartz.com/
Finally, check out Tim Scherrer’s Hancart book: https://www.lulu.com/shop/tim-scherrer/ ... pageSize=4
