Greetings -- M38A1 (USMC) in NE Alabama

My new project. It seems to be mostly intact with amazingly little rust. It probably never went aboard ship or crossed a beach ...

It apparently spent some time with a fire department but they didn't molest it much if at all. The hard top is civilian of course. PO painted it and it looks like a Range Control or Base Ops kind of vehicle ... maybe? I'll be looking for a soft top for it, though.

For now, its basically road worthy (starts, stops, does 45 mph -- probably do 50 if dropped from a C-130) and parade ready. Hopefully I can get it to the last Cruise In of the season in Scottsboro.

My plans are for a long-term rolling resto. Lots of little things ...
