transmission computer panel
I bought this piece thinking it was for covering the transmission electrical behind passenger seat.
But then I saw this pic on the m1151 walk around website and the panel is different.
Does anyone know if either piece will work or what exactly the part I did buy is suppose to be for?

Was the the one I bought for a different application? Looks like there's a spot for a plug to fit in that hole.

Re: transmission computer panel
There are at least two versions. I think the 2-man goes all the way to the floor. I can get my toes under the 4-door version. The Pic of the one in the Humvee...you can see a small red button on the top right side of that panel. It is to reset the trans circuit breaker.
Some have a hole for an umbilical cord.

There are also ground and power distribution blocks that attach inside the panel, as well as the relay.

Re: transmission computer panel
Hello,
Goes anyone know the NSN of the panel that Ohiohmmwv posted? Looking for the same panel.
Appreciate any pointers if anyone knows where any are available for purchase.
Thanks.

Re: transmission computer panel
Hi 86humv, thanks for the quick response.
The panel in your picture appears to be the short one without the hole. I am looking for the lone one with the hole that matches the one posted by Ohiohmmwv. Let me know if you have this one.
Also, if anyone knows the NSN number for this panel I would appreciate the help. Thank you.

Re: transmission computer panel
There are 3 panals ...
-Short w/no hole “4 man trucks”
-Long with hole “2 man shelter trucks”
-short w/hole “ perhaps the latest style so it made no difference what truck it was in”
The reason for the short panel was for foot clearance for the passenger.
The hole is for the 24v umbilical power cable to the shelter....I’ve removed a ton of them.

Re: transmission computer panel
I'd add that another version of the 2 man panel on 1152 trucks have an extra side hole hole towards the door a bolt. Its cut a bit different to allow for this. Extra reinforcement. Still has the big hole for shelter power.
