Fire extinguisher bracket

Post by Andyp » Mon Jan 13, 2020 2:57 pm

I have read somewhere that the fire extinguisher bracket was mounted on the passenger side on early Script bodies?? Can anyone confirm where it should be on a 42 Script GPW??

That was only on the early Willys MB Slat grille before Willys added a glove box.
No GPW was ever made without a glove box.
You should find the six holes for the extinguisher bracket on the drivers side body .... possibly hidden by layers of paint and / or bondo. :D
