Carter 539S Carburettor

Post by tizzard » Wed Dec 18, 2019 11:34 am

I have a March 42 (123045) slat grill which has a Solex on it and I want to replace it with a correct period Carter 539S carburettor. Am I correct in assuming this is the correct model carburettor and if so how much should I be prepared to pay for an original professionally refurbished item? Thanks
Willys Slat Grill 123045. Body No.23765. DoD 3 - 25 - 42 .ARN No. 79545
Willys Slat Grill 108856 Engine #MB107299 DoD 1 - 2 - 42. fully restored in US apparently but not completely kosher. But fun..... New restore underway
