There were more than a few 6.00X16 NDT Tire Manufacturers that provided OEM or replacement NDT's during WWII.Below are a few that I haave witnessed since the 40's.
Armstrong
B.F. Goodrich
Firestone
Fisk
Ford (Pointed Lugs)
General
Goodyear (Pointed Lugs)
Inland (May have been post war)
Iroquois
Kelly Springfield (Pointed Lugs)
Lee
Pennsylvania
Seiberling
U.S. Royal (Have round lugs at Center Tread)

There are more, anybody know of any other WWII brands? Allstate may have had an NDT.

Denman. I am pretty sure that I had their NDTs with dates from the war era.

Photos would have been nice, but who would have thought back then? I started witnessing all these brand names long before curious collectors were born. Good Year is my favorite. I do have some examples in my spares , they are:
GoodYear, Armstrong, Inland, Kelly Springfield, BF Goodrich, not all are GI issue, some are civilian. Only the Armstrong and Inland have GI marking. 6.00X16 NDT Tires also had a good 40's-50's Civilian demand for those CJ-2A and CJ-3A Civilian Jeeps.
There was a steady dribble of NOS Surplus 6.00-16" NDT's during the 60's thru 80's from the Depots, might have been for the M-422 or any of the specialty trailers and dollies that used that size. Phil Nelson always seemed to be the buyer of these.

I believe there was also MOHAWK. Two MB jeeps that I have seen in Greece (with their spare tyres original and unmolested) carried those in the back.

Mohawk was a familiar brand 7.00X16 NDCC replacement in the 60's-70's.

Cooper made NDT's during WWII, but at the moment I can't find anything to prove they stocked them in 6.00x16 during WWII.

Hello,

Here is another WW2 Jeep tire manufacturer.

Dunlop , and they look like they had a nice looking tire !

Here are some pictures of one with the S-3 and Military stamping, on an un-restored ex- British Army Jeep
found here in the US that was sold surplus out of Germany.
