Have you heard back from anybody? This is an old post. Cant beat the price, just try making one yourself. Or get an original one for $275 from the auction site. Dont mean to hijack the original post but it looks dead anyway.

Looks like the tube can be gotten from a metal supply yard, 1.250 x .035" at least that what an original measures. Pipe cost 8 bucks and 11 postage.

Dipstick and cap is another issue. I use the short ones from old generators and tig a piece of a later stick on .

I`m with Adam on this.
The straight tube an cap from my experience were mainly MA and a few very early Slats
early 42 were more in keeping with the one Charlie posted
With the funnel top but without the breather tube and with the loop cap

I thought Nabholtz had the change at serial number 114550.
