Ibis Tek Lightbar Guts

I just took apart my 66" That is a chore. lol. I think there were 88 screws. The sticky tape on the loom holders came loose. 2 of the "relays" are sliding in their bracket. I took it apart for making the exterior green. I want to do it right. I may leave the inside tan. I don't know if that will have anything to do with heat or not. I will place the light assembly into a gun case to hold everything in place for now...
I recall Alex had the longer bar, and the ends broke. The 66" seems to have much thicker end caps with screws on all 4 sides.

Are you saying it poorly assembled inside?

Do you have the early lights that explode into flames?

probably. is that why the vents on top are flame shaped?
I should get the brackets mounted up now while the housing is empty. It is much lighter!
I wonder how long the HIDs last if the cover is left up with the lights on. I have seen folks melt plastic covers.

The 66" light bar weighs 30 # without brackets.
Anyone know how to get the 50 amp fuse out of the holder?
And, do i drill the big hole right next to the wingshirld hinge or further down? I do not have armor, like in thd i structions.
Or maybe the 10' outside harness section is long enough to go under tunnel thru one othe the factory holes to battery compartment...

For anyone not wanting to drill a 1 1/4" hole in your tub, the main harness has plenty length to run down the outside of the windshield then over and down trans dipstick tube or frame rail, then through an existing hole in the side of battery compartment, then over to the side storage area. It may look nicer to just run it into a hole, but I wanted to try this first.
