That is used as a bolting point for the splash shields. There is one on the other side too.

If this is not difficult, then tell me, what are these details? Are they required to install ECV NOSE on a HUMMER?

The black triangles bolt to the top inside of the nose. They are the top half of the oil / trans cooler hinge. They are not needed and can't be used on a standard cooling stack.

the silver squares are to be located in your hood and the "wing" hood support bolts to them further anchoring the wing support to the hood. Very much required for the ecv nose/hood install.
