I am fairly certain that this is somewhere in France so some of the jeeps are most likely Hotchkiss . This reminds me I was in Normandy for the 75 th celebrations and looked at dozens of parked jeeps and only saw one Hotchkiss which was marked correctly as French army.

I rember a photo very much like this one on a canvas manufacturers site many years ago.

It was a photo showing all the different jeep models they kept around for reference in making canvas .

Beachwood? Maybe?

I might be completly wrong but it sure looks close

There is a French U tube video where a garage buys a jeep off an elderly man and does a ground up on it . In their search for parts they call at this yard (I think) and buy I think a NOS transmission out of the wood box . I have not been able to locate the video again maybe it has been deleted . The story line is the jeep is much worse than first thought and much French merriment from other garage guys from surrounding restoration shop etc etc . I think maybe "Jeep Sudouest" or something similar was involved .

I saw a photo like this (this could be the actual photo) on EBAY back in the late 90's. The owner wanted to sell all of them as one lot and minimum bid was $250,000.00 US. Perhaps a bargain in todays world. I believe the guy was in Belgium.

That's realy easy to find the picture location.
Save the picture in your PC or tablet or smartphone.
Use Google Image to search the web with that picture .
... and you will find that the photo was taken in the Jeep Village jeep shelves in France.
Google will return many other photos of that storage to make you dream !

Yes Yves is correct, jeep village photo - been around a long time. I notice amongst the M201'S a slat grille and various Maltournee mixtures. Looks like they sell wrecks for rebuild too starting at 5000 Euro.

I recall it being referred to as 'the shed of dreams'.
