Thanks Mark! And padding is a good thing for the backside! I bought the seats, crash pad covers, draft boots, and door safety straps from Dave P. At WeeBee Webbing. Really nice stuff, the canvas feels great. The OD blanket stashed inside the seat didn’t give me quite enough, so I cheated and added a small piece of foam padding. Here’s the seat without anything put inside.Mark Jesic wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2019 8:44 amLooking really good Beers, i noticed that you have the thicker seat cushion. Ive just put one on mine, passenger side though, for my good lady. (it stops the moaning of how uncomfortable she feels).
Applying the covers to the crash pads. 3M makes a trim adhesive that works perfect for stuff like this. Just spray on and fold over two sides, let dry, and then spray a little bit on the remaining two sides and fold over.
