I ordered it from Northwest Military Vehicles. Looks to be from OmixIda which means MD Juan. I’m hoping that there aren’t to many things to “adjust” on it to make it fit correctly.

Ah, isn’t it a GPW floor? Ohhh you have a ‘45... makes sense!

What is the model of your Regulator?

I was told it’s off a 43 so I wonder if I should be looking for a generator to fit a 43 instead of 45? 🤔.

The 4204 isn't a 4203, is it?.....find yourself a VRY-4203G (rubber gasket & long ribs on the cover) that would be what your jeep needs.
Settle for the earlier model VRY-4203A if that is all you can find.
If your jeep is SIX volts, take the regulator and your rebuilt genny (GEG-5101D) to a shop that knows how to adjust the settings on the regulator to insure it wasn't adjusted to 8-volts and wants to overcharge the 6-volt battery and boil it out.

What we find on our jeep purchase isn't necessarily correct by a long shot!

You’ve missed the first V at the beginning of the serial number...ie: VRY......
Also, I think you will find that your V later in serial number is actually a Y......meaning the regulator is dated March 1944.(.?) I think......

I’m slapping myself in the forehead right now... I bought this off eBay thinking it was the right thing by the description. My last restoration project was much easier, this finding the right year/model for this one is testing my sanity. Thank you for noticing before it was to late.

VRY-4204 is correct, it has all the same specs as the VRY-4203. I have sold quite a few of them since the 50's. Most were sold to G503 owners.
Some of my NOS were Air Force Surplus from Presque AFB North of me. Many of them had Yellow Serviceable tags with "for G503" written on them w/grease pencil. Color was OD with smooth early cover and a Cork Gasket. I saved one as a spare and souvenier. Somewhere in my AutoLite information I had information that these were intended for vertical mounting and could be found on the GTB.

Can I ask where you purchased your lower rear quarter repair panels with the curves in them?
Thanks
