SLO G503 J13202R

Saw this parked along the street near my daughter's college apartment in San Luis Obispo. The area is overwhelmingly college student housing.
Note the Esslingen rebuild tag. Willys frame and tub. Frame tag missing and I was too shy to lift the hood to check engine SN. Spare tire mount had the footer.

Can anyone make sense out of the J13202R hood number?

It's a fantasy number, just as the "us army" on the (very substantial) bumper and windscreen.
Nice rough looking jeep!

I'd bet the old girl has a CJ engine under the hood which has the same # stamped into it as painted on the hood
