Finished another fender as well as the inner fender well. It had a bullet hole in it. I will have to take a picture of the finished inner but for now, here is the fender and the old inner before repairs.

Thanks to lt. luke for sending me the craigslist ad. I understand from talking to him that I owe another G member a thanks as well for sending the ad to luke. Thanks all. Anyway, yesterday I went and purchase 2 NOS block and piston matched sets for the GTB. both are painted gray under the cosmoline.(sp). Here are some photos. One has 414c on the block and piston boxes. The other has 356C on all parts. The curious thing I saw was one block has a foundry stamp below the oil fill and the other has no raised (or lowered) markings. Any ideas?

Straight out of the cosmoline. A time capsule of Aqua paint on a GTB block. Go figure.

Installed the head. I was lucky enough to find some NOS wires from Brent when I visited him in College Station Texas. Here are some photos.

Isn't it crazy that the color looks different depending on what angle you take the photo? The far away ones make it look lighter colored than it is.

Started working on the radiator. First I had to de-solder the tanks. Rod out the core and make any repairs necessary (replaced three tubes in the core) then wash thoroughly with cleaning solution. Then solder it back together and pressure test it.

Installed the intake and exhaust yesterday. Still have to put the weight onto the heat riser and install the heat shield over that area.

So the NOS carburetor that I purchased a few months ago is awesome except the main butterfly was incorrect as well as the choke lever. I switch them out with the OE ones. In the process I impelled my hand with the screwdriver when trying to take the screws out of the butterfly. It opened up while I was pushing down (super hard). OUCH.
