10- 23 633632 - W4 A N1 - OR 2

Please let me know what do these mean?

10-23 casting date

633632??? 633 should be a 638 check it 638632 is a WWll block casting number

W4 mold number something at the factory

A I dont know, anybody? I have only seen 1 with an A here.

NI OR OR should be a CR?? casting alloying material

All this is listed here someplace.

October 23rd.

Is there a serial number stamped into the oval pad? Do you have the oil pan off to look for the machining date near the rear bearing?
