Somewhere in France, 5 Dames in a Jeep !
Behind, on the left side of the photo there is a poster attached on a door with "The killers always come back" written on it in French  .

I don't know where these two ladies from the Red Cross are coming from with such a muddy Jeep  ?
They are shown beside a B-26 Marauder nicknamed "Wham Bam".(558th Bomb Squadron, 387th Bomb Group, 9th Air Force)

« les assassins reviennent toujours... » is the headline of a famous german propaganda poster, printed after the American bombings on Rouen.

Trolling Library of Congress photos today came across this one, of interest (well legs on driver) but solid rim tire and strange shovel (head doesn't seem to fit right) are interesting too. poor bumper, another girl is waiting to clobber it.

"Chicago schoolchildren buy 263,148.83 in war bonds. In a special war bond campaign which began April fourteenth and was ended May twelfth, the public schoolchildren of the South-Central District of Chicago purchased 263,148.83 in war bonds and stamps, enough money to by 125 jeeps, two pursuit planes and a motorcycle. Photo shows one of the jeeps being christened in the war bond rally in Washington Park on June fourth. Twenty-four public schools participated in the campaign"

Washing a jeep
:) "Women's Army Auxiliary Corps. Some WAACs lean more toward the heavier work such as auxiliary Doris Johnson, of Leipic, Ohio, shown washing down a jeep. Fort Des Moines, Iowa"

Supposedly Dec 42, but wouldn't Des Moines be iced over by then?
