Do you think that most jeep windscreens are bent back when we get them because of all the dames sitting/resting on them? Most will say it's because of people spending 70+ years climbing into and out of the jeep and using the windscreen as a hand hold, but I think a lot of these pictures are proof otherwise, which I'm okay with  :P

You are right.
I even invite old people to pull themselves in the jeep while holding the windscreen :)!
It's a military vehicle, so I hope that the original windscreen will resist.

Young guys and girls having fun in a GPW in 1951 near the beach in Belgium. Likely in Ostende.

The Dame of the day is Queen Elisabeth ! (Princess in 1951)

This is only my opinion, but it's a shame to make this jeep the most ridiculous I've ever seen.

That picture was in the Life magazine issue of October 22nd, 1951 :"Elisabeth in Canada"
Her royal balance was preserved by Princess Elizabeth when she was trundled about in a white jeep inspecting Canadian troops_1024x1024.jpg

Even the steering wheel is white :)!
I'm wondering how that jeep can turn with that type of fenders :o .
