Railroad Film - Portland OR Oct 15
People in WW2 Class A uniforms needed at the Oregon Railway Heritage Museum Monday Oct 15th, 1500 to 2200. Please respond here so numbers can be passed on. This is on a civilian train, so please don't bring weapons, Web gear or vehicles.

If this had been yesterday, I'd have shown up. Monday is a horrible day that this.
What's it for? I hadn't heard anything about this until just now.
At least the weather is good for that.

Monday was not a good choice, we only had three people able to attend. Unfortunately not our choice as to timing. It was a photo shoot (not film as we had originally thought) with SP4449, inside and outside the cars. They are hoping to do the next one on a weekend day, at Union Station rather than at the museum.Lee Bishop wrote: ↑Mon Oct 15, 2018 8:33 amIf this had been yesterday, I'd have shown up. Now, I'd show up for that, especially at the depot and on a weekend if I'm in the area at the time with enough prior notice. I'd ever tell the guys in my living history group (The Friends of Willie and Joe, most of us are in the Olympia/Tacoma area) in case any of them wanted to come along as well.Sarchet wrote: ↑Thu Oct 18, 2018 11:05 pmMonday was not a good choice, we only had three people able to attend. FOWJ was actually the group running point in this, besides me Peter and Steve were the guys that showed up. I just re-posted from the Facebook page.

I guess it makes sense nobody told me as they all know I can't easily get time off for anything where I work...

I found mention of this photo shoot here: http://4449.com/sp4449news.html Only three guys could show up.
I talked with Steve Gay not long ago about it and he said it was a neat time but also wondered why they did this on a week day (Steve's retired so he can go anytime he wants).
