Parting a PU58 Prices Edited

Post by wadefreedomvehicles » Fri Aug 10, 2018 11:04 am

I am keeping some parts for myself.
But most of it is for sale.
Side covers I am keeping, oil filter canister, generator(on engine), Panel cover, Pully off governor.

Engine with no oil filter or generator. Engine in unkown condition. Probably needs rebuilt. I believe it is a DJ3 Engine. (has recently redone starter) $200
Generator $100
Radiator $100
Panel(gauges, etc) $100
Fuel tank $50
Air filter $75

The generator was built into a trailer and air compressor unit. Whatever is left after part out Will be scrapped.
All parts are OBO. If a part is not listed you can ask about it.

Looks like a PU58 not a PE95, Whats the VR under the cover look like?

Do you have a side view picture of the intake?

Really would like to see these parts go somewhere rather than scrap.

Look under that long cover on top of the generator right behind the engine held in by probably for flat head screws you say there was a generator mounted on the engine then without voltage regulator is under that cover

I usually scrap out most of what is left too, there is just no demand for the parts, I have offered several parts on here over the years for free and as of yet, not one taker, not one. So scrap away

But don't forget the voltage regulator, I had a PU-58 a couple months ago and almost missed it. Mine was like new.

Are the small tabs (spring loaded) that are used to keep the panels in place available? I need a few.
