4 in a row
At a show last weekend, i couldnt resist sharing this picture with you guys. A super day with the weather to match, and the slattie looks good. I posted one last year called"three in a row". Looks like our numbers are growing.

Re: 4 in a row
Thanks Yves, my jeep is second from the left, and if you look closely you will see that the one next to it (3rd from left) is a long wheel base jeep, which are rare. It was a great day, but arent they all.

I like your slat grill jeep because she does not look like a Christmas tree or a mobile museum with ton's of souvenirs hooked everywhere?
Your looks like ... A true jeep under a nice blue sky !

Re: 4 in a row
Thanks Yves, i have seen many jeeps with the 30cal, a radio, and loads of other bits on them. Yes they are all period correct, but not all on one jeep. In wartime there would have been too much equipment to lose in one hit if they had all this stuff on them.

Yes! It's up to everyone to expose whatever he wants on a jeep, but sometimes too much is too much !
There was an hilarious thread about that on miljeep.fr !

Yves, i think the word "overloaded " is an understatement. I keep mine basic, as most of them were, occasionly i have a grenade bag strapped on the side of mine. Its strictly for sandwiches only.

Re: 4 in a row
That's the reason why it's so cool to see 4 normal, i.e not overcharged, jeeps .

Its a pleasure Redcoss, a great day was had by all. I enjoy watching parents photographing their kids sitting in my jeep (as long as they ask). They walk away with a smile on their face, and because of that, you know they will be back next year.

Re: 4 in a row
I agree with you guys about to many things on a WW-2 jeep, I think they look better as a basic jeep [plane Jane],
kinda like the way I keep my 43 GPW.
Right now I'm working on a wooden cage to put a live chicken in to put on the front finder for a chemical gas warning indicator .
Always say, keep it simple..... esp. if you want to bore everyone.
Mark, I have always wanted a slat grill, maybe one of these day's, BTW your slattie look's great.
HAPPY VETERANS DAY TO ALL YOU VET'S.
