Hey Ralph. I have one of those parts. I'll go see how it fits on my A1 and report back.

I'm seeing the same results that you are. I checked the fit up and depth of the crossmember on my A1 and A2 and it also shows what you are seeing. Per our phone discussion you have several options but now I'm curious if anyone else has see this issue or maybe Ralph and I are missing something on this fit up?

I have an NOS mid crossmember at the shop. I'm going to bring it home tonight and fit the repair part up to it. Stay tuned...

I'm seeing the same issue with the NOS crossmember.

I checked my other two sets. They are all the same height within 1/16".

I've had a few other reports and it seems that these end caps are not consistent. Some have been short on the height. When we make our replacement, I'll design it to fit the NOS crossmember which matches my other trucks.

This topic motivated me to draw the mid crossmember yesterday.

I'll also make the repair end cap to fit properly.
