24 May, Sun: Ride of the Patriots. They are really looking for one MV to carry the grand marshal. The parade will stage at Capt. Pell’s at 10195 Fairfax Boulevard, Fairfax, VA 22030 at 6:45 AM and will start promptly at 7:20 AM you need to be there by 0645 and end at Patriot Harley-Davidson, 9739 Fairfax Boulevard Fairfax, VA 22031. 25 May, Mon: The National Memorial Day Parade will be held in Wash DC on Monday 26 May down Constitution Ave . Lineup at 1230, parade starts at 1400 (2 PM). Club is registered. I will put out lineup info when I get it.

25 May, Mon: On Memorial Day (Monday, May 25th) at 10 a.m. the Town of Leesburg holds their traditional ceremony. Military vehicles are invited to join VFW Post 1177 - show time for display vehicles is NLT 9:30 a.m. on King Street in front of the Downtown Saloon, across from the County Courthouse. 5-7 June, Fri-Sun: WW 2 Weekend, Reading, Pa. Airshow and ground displays, large flea market. Individual registration. http://www.maam.org/maamwwii.html

6 June, Sat: D-Day remembrance event, Old Town Alexandria, VA. WW2 vehicles, GI reenactors welcome. Market Square, set up around 1300-1330, program is from 1400-1700. 6 June, Sat: On the 6th of June, the CS Monroe Technical Center & the Leesburg Business Assocation host their annual car show. Since it's the 70th Anniversary of the end of the war in Europe, and the 71st Anniversary (to the day) of the Normandy invasion, they'd like to increase the military vehicle participation in the show. The VFW typically participates with our howitzer (full equipment display) and M38A1. There's a $20 fee per vehicle to support the vocational school. Show time is 4 PM at Tuscarora High School. 6 June, Sat: Annual Veterans Appreciation Day. 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM

13 June, Sat: Run Amuck 4 mile and Mini Run Amuck 2 mile Mud Run on Quantico Marine Corps Base. Vehicles requested for display. Run starts at 0700 to 1300. Must setup between 0600 and 0630. Expecting 3000 runners. Dummy or airsoft weapons are OK. 4 July, Sat: Dale City, VA Independence Day Parade. Parade starts at 1000. Lineup on Dale Blvd starts at 0915. Club is registered.

4 July, Sat: Town of Leesburg Independence Day parade: Show time is NLT 09:30 at Ida Lee Park at the north end of King Street in Leesburg. POC is the Town of Leesburg event coordinator (http://tinyurl.com/peetvw5). 11-12 July, Sat-Sun: VA. WW2 Weekend at Sully Historic Site off route 28 near Dulles. Hours 1000 to 1600 Sat, 1000 to 1500 Sun. The same exit as the Air and Space Museum Annex.
