10 Sep, Sat: Goldvein, VA Jubilee. There are games, live entertainment, food, pony and carriage rides, a gold panning booth, and a silent auction. This year the Jubilee is on September 10 from 11-5. I would like to add some activities up at the museum, such as booths from historical societies and history re-enactors. The mines in the area closed during WW2, so I was interested in finding someone to set up a display of WW2 items (and WW1 items. 17-18 Sep, Sat-Sun: West Virginia Airshow at the Air National Guard Base, Martinsburg, WV. Contact me by Wed, 24 Aug if you need more info or want to attend. I need to turn in a list of who is coming and get gate passes.

17-18 Sep, Sat-Sun: The National Park Service will sponsor a World War II living history weekend at the Eisenhower National Historic Site, Gettysburg, PA. An authentic recreation of both Allied and German army camps, complete with original World War II vehicles, will be set up on the site. Over 100 living history enthusiasts will portray military personnel from the European Theater in 1944. Dozens of World War II vehicles will be on display.

22 September, Thur: Annual Westminster (MD) Fallfest Parade. Start time 1900 (7 pm). Individual registration. Call Nikki Haschert at 410-857-9072. Registration must be in by 31 Aug.

1-2 Oct, Sat-Sun: Brentsville, VA WW2 weekend. 1000 to 1600 each day. WW2 vehicles welcome for display. Contact Michael Riley:

2 Oct, Sun: Armed Forces Retirement Home, Washington DC. 54th Annual Car Show. 0800 free coffee/donuts, 0900 registration begins. 1100 judging. 1230 awards. .

6 Nov, Sun: Brunswick, MD, Veteran's Day Parade. Lineup begins at 1200, opening ceremonies at 1300, and parade starts at 1400. The parade route will start on East Potomac Street (at City Park). Come down 9th St to line up, follow blue color signs. Club is registered.
