Did the US use 1937 Buicks for staff cars?

Thanks in advance for knowledge,

Certainly no expert. I find reference to a Polish General using a 37 Buick as a lend lease staff car during the surrender of Poland. I cannot find any period photos of US Buick staff cars, but would presume that the military could purchase whatever they wanted although pre war budgets were sparce. I can find some restored Buicks painted and marked as staff cars, but that is not an official representation.
I wish I could find it, but someone showed me a list one time of what rank would qualify for each brand of car.
For example Captains might get Fords and Chevy, Majors might get Dodge, Cols, might get Buick and Generals might get Cadillac or Packard. Interesting document.
