FOR SALE: This Is a Brand New NOS 6-Volt Starter for the WW2 Plymouth Staff Car manufactured by Auto-Lite.
This item is NOS (New Old Stock) It is still sealed in the Original Packaging and covered up tight in the protective "cosmoline wax".

The Label on the outside of the Box reads:
DATE PACKED FEB 23 1950.
QUAN 1 PART NO MZ 4105 DESCRIPTION CODE 2980 STR, MOTOR.

The nomenclature plate reads:
CHRYSLER CORPORATION
POSITIVE SHIFT STARTER
MODEL MZ-4115 SERIAL 1Z074221 (however your serial number will differ)
MADE IN THE U.S.A. BY
THE ELECTRIC AUTO-LITE CO. TOLEDO OH.

It has never been opened or used, and we guarantee you will receive exactly as this Ad describes: A Brand New NOS Starter, still sealed in the manufacture box and cosmoline. We also guarantee that this starter will function and work just like it came off the assembly line yesterday!
These were manufactured by Chrysler from 1939-1945 and will fit the Plymouth Staff Car for those same years.

This is not a reproduction or a rebuilt item! This is 100% an original and authentic Government issue NOS starter, manufactured here in the US by Auto-Lite in Toledo Ohio. This is still sealed in the manufacture box. The pictures below show all the details, we took one out of the box just to take pictures of this. However you would be buying a sealed and unopened box.

I only have 2 of these starters left, and they won't last long!
