WWII STAFF CAR TIRES

Post by Ben Dover » Fri Feb 23, 2018 7:37 am

Many of the WWII Sedans could be seen with 6.00 X 16 NDT tires on front and rear. This was witnessed on many surplus vehicles as well as staff cars at post WWII Dow Field.

There is plenty of WWII documentation explaining the rubber shortage and how it affected production and availability of tires.
