We just inherited dads old hunting jeep. Title says 43.
My son wants to get it running as is. Hope to do a build thread.
Love all the info here.

Hello,
Welcome to the G503 !!!
The jeep looks great, and will be an outstanding project, plus Ron is in Oregon so you can get all your needed parts from him locally
People on the G will help you along the restoration journey, it is a lot of fun saving our great History !!
You may have markings under the paint on the rear bumperettes, hood, dash, etc.
Maybe it served at Camp Adair ?
Keep us posted !!
Best Regards,
Ray

Yes, welcome to the forum. All parts you need are obtained from the guy who is paying for us to use this great site; Ron Fitzpatrick. Click on the head banner.
First, get a complete set of TMS, and the AAW books, and study them, and Jeep Draw, and this forum, for 3 months solid, before you even touch that jeep. There are very specific configurations for each maker and each year.
And absolutely NOT; there is no hard top for them. Post war, civilian stuff, but these are historical piecers and need to be brought back to original configuration. If someone wants to cobble one up for a mud bogger, we don't use WW2 jeeps any more. All the restorable ones are almost gone.
