Jeep Willys MB 44
Hello, thanks for let me enjoy to your group G503. I hope i will get some good advice from another people from my project. Here is my Jeep Willys MB. I found just number on body ACM II 18736 so maybe February 44 ? But i have a problem because my Data plates aren't original for my Jeep DOD 23.3 1945, the serial number is 437156,but frame is without data plate so i think that it's from 43 or late. And last thing is block motor and that is Hotchkiss m201. And im so excited now because Jeep was my dream From childhood. And for interestingness i bought this Jeep from my long time friend which drove this Jeep since 80'.

Milan,
I am not familiar with the small metal tag welded inside the frame. Is that a Czech military identification?

That "MALT"-tag is put there by the French army reconditioning plant at Maltournee and is their serial number for the rebuild.

Re: Jeep Willys MB 44
... The Jeep was originally a Czechoslovak armoured Brigade in Velke Britain, then served in the Czechoslovak army in 70. He was acquired by my friend from whom I bought it. V 90. Years the engine block was replaced by Hotchkiss, and the frame (version type I supression 43), the bodywork had not originally mounted a radio outlet box.
