It's been a while since I've posted an update. Here's everything I've done.

I removed the motor, transmission and transfer case from the frame and started to disassemble it in order to have it machined.

Once I got everything off the frame we noticed it was pretty significantly bent. My dad and I made a bracket and used a hydraulic press to straighten it out. The front crossmember was badly damaged so that was removed and one from a doner frame was put in its place. We used the fenders and grill to ensure the crossmember was straight and the distance between the two frame rails was correct.

D_C: Carry on. See the hill? Take the hill. Most important in your post, to me, was "my dad and I..." Our stuff is so much more than vehicles.
Best to you and your Dad,

Thank you very much. The best part has been working on it with my dad. We went to a local event a couple years ago and that sparked my interest again and I got searous about finding one. I've always wanted one since I can remember.

Very nice! I havent been able to work much with it. Unfortunately it's been too hat as of lately to do much but I hope to make some progress over the cooler months now that they are here. Still have some work to do with the frame
