I have just bought this Jeep imported from Ca USA to UK. Didn't really know much about them, but am really pleased with it! It is serial number 43023. I have added it to the serial number list on this website along with a picture.
Take a look. I will add pics here soon I hope.

Wonder what those missing data tags said. To me, the size looks like those brass water fording warning data tags. Just my hunch.

Unfortunately apart from the rusted out fuel tank well area, and some floor rust, looks like the farmer removed the top of the rear part of tub....I think i can get a new or used part of tub and have it welded back in there...
I welcome any info etc on anything noticed by others in pictures. ie...in hood pic, there are 4 little holes been filled in hood near where the service manual brackets are on underside.
THere is also a plate on passenger side outside of tub, which appears to have yellow paint under the OD.

Hi mrmoto

Hope you and your projects re well.

In the early photos, I can see a mirror arm on your jeep.

Any chance of a closer photo of it please? I am trying to collect data on mirror arms and anything and everything is on the table to be considered at this stage. i`m looking for patterns of what was on what and when.

Anyway, if you can help out that would be great.

Seasons greetings,

Cheers,
Ian.
