Ok ca doit etre le ferraillou bien connu du coin (me rappelle plus de son nom)
Il avait une quantité énorme de Matos !
Pour la messenger , impossible de la laisser ds son jus , peinture trop abimée.

Je suis en France aussi, et ma GPW a des lames avant Willys.

very nice jeep, i have a place in france, near vire, manche, we are over in june, i was hoping to bring my jeep over this time, but we are not allowed to bring a trailer and a pet on the ferry, and pet won i'm afraid!!!

I would like to find a Jeep in as 'not in very good shape' as yours.

I used to work in Champagne, in Avize, in the 1970s. There is a private airfield on the plain below the Cote, in the direction of Chalon. Two Jeeps were used there as aircraft tugs. I have often wondered if they are still there!

Hello Florent,

I think the plates under the rear sides of your jeep very possibly had some type of recoil-less rifle mounted there.
They look like solid bolt up plates for one !

A lot of french Jeeps has the recoilless 106mm gun, with split windshield, additional suspension coils on the rear, etc
