It is interesting from a restorers point of view to see a 10/30/44 with those parts. It illustrates what I believe to be correct that when one is looking to obtain a genny and regulator for their jeep that finding them a few weeks or so prior to the DOD would be acceptable. While Florent has a 10/44 Genny and a 9/44 distributor in his jeep...I believe those parts with those dates on them to be original for a jeep with a 10/30/44 DOD.

Furthermore...while one is dated October and the other September...I see nothing at all wrong with them not having the SAME month of production on them at all.

Is there a code date for the gas pump ? (thinking of the moulding marks around the "44")

The AC Fuel Pump is dated on both the top and bottom halves as far as I know....yours has the year "44" in the center. If you count the number of "ticks" around the "44" you should get a number between 1 and 12 that indicate the month of production.

Yours appears to have 10 ticks (October). At the top there is what looks to be a tick sideways...I think this is a flaw in the markings being applied and there are only TEN marks surrounding the "44".

It's just what I guessed. An other nice find. I will have a look on the other half part of the pump. Thanks !

Seconding your opinion. My 7/11/44 MB has a 7/44 Generator, 7/44 Distributor & 6/44 Regulator

Probably a stupid question but, is that rear right wheel solid?

Yes, probably from a French M201. The 4 others are combat rims.
