Unfortunately, they've been shortened down the middle and the 2nd part of the bows are much shorter. They're also super wavy. I'll just wait til the borders reopen and have Ron ship me a set to the border, US Made of course !

That captive nut was a royal pain to install. Tore up a finger trying to hold it while I was zapping it with the impact with the other hand

Hello,
That forward progress is looking great !!
I like the reflector too.
Watch those knuckle busters !
Drilling things too, they tend to spin items fast !!

Last piece of the puzzle is in thanks to Hellfire ! All the way from Australia !
Took me a while, got the piriformis syndrome and could barely walk for the past 5 weeks.
Very happy

Looking good Etienne,
I have really enjoyed watching this Jeep being re-born, be careful you don't hurt your eyes with that bright light at the end of the tunnel.

Aha indeed, the list is definitely getting shorter now ! Its just the expensive bits that are left
Next time I'm at the cabin, I'll need to start dissassembly, grind all the welding from underneath, tin the grounding spots and get it ready for paint. Might take me a few weekends.

Hello Etienne,
Great work !!!
That is nice that John had the part you need to complete that hump, all the way from Australia !!
It looks like a perfectly blended in weld repair !
I am glad you are feeling better, I had to look that up to find out what it was, sounds plenty uncomfortable !!
I had never heard of it .
Jeep work should help it out
Stay safe !!!
Best Regards,
Ray

Two weeks ago, finished the last patch on the driver side fender. This weekend, 4 years to the day after painting the frame, I painted the Tub. Ready for wiring

Hello,
Very nice Etienne !!
It seems to be coming together quickly now.
That is great, after all these years of hard work.
It seems like you, and we, just started our restorations, but time flys when we are having fun !!
The paint looks great !!
Best Regards,
Ray
