Looks great. Getting to that area is hell for the lower back, for sure. I can't do 10 minutes, let alone 10 hours.

Where are you sourcing the replacement lower parts for the eiffel towers?

I'll get the JMP pillars through Ron, i was quoted a 4 weeks wait approx. I do have another shipment of smaller parts coming in from Ron this week though :)

Pretty much done with the tub.

I'll weld in the Y-brace on the passenger side next week, I'm just missing two bits of the puzzle for the hump and the A-pillars

Got my goodies from Ron/JMP installed and I'm happy :)
I was surprised to find my original trailer socket cover stud and able to reuse it!

Installed the radiator for fun (nice to empty the shelves a bit), it'll have to come back off one day but for now I enjoy adding parts on.

Installed the rear panel reinforcement, my original panel didn't use bolts but rather used welds. Replicated the look

Looking great. My drivers side seat has been cut exactly the same as yours. Any ideas why?

On mine, the fuel tank had been replaced with a civy model and the opening for it is more inboard and thus the seat was cut up to make it possible to open it. Thankfully the original sheet metal was just folded down so I'll be able to salvage it

Thanks. mine must have had a similar tank in it at some point. The metal on mine is folded also.

Sorry for the lack of update, I was searching for a new condo and found one.

Ran into my first major hurdle. Turns out my tub was sitting on top of my transfer case. I made a thread here : viewtopic.php?f=4&t=320922

I think its a combination of multiple factors, one being wrong engine mounts and probably how I welded the tub. End result being that the whole drivetrain was nose-diving and 1/2" too far forward.

I moved it backwards and raised the front so its level. Might be too high now and will need the mounts mounting holes to be notched or the insulators modified but I like this solution better than tweaking the tub. We'll see :) oh and I also raised the tub a little with extra body mounts and lowered the transmission crossmember.

Started fixing the fenders. Also made a 'tool' to fake spot welds where i couldnt spot weld :D

Hello Boyso,

My goodness you have done some incredible work on your jeep !!!
You are really turning the corner, and entering the final push and reassembly :D :D :D

Great update, and pictures, and it is good that you have been able to make adjustments
to clear the transfer case.
Keep in mind a big hammer sometimes :D :D :D
They do work and you won't notice anything other than it fits better :D :D

Keep us updated, great work you are doing, and you inspire us all, toward our own efforts !!!

Best Regards,
Ray

Thank you :)

Still waitings on my parts from Ron, should be here Monday with the new motor mounts:)

Impressive the amount of dirt hiding in the hat channel from the fender

Hello,

Nice fender repair work going on there, having recently done mine, they are pretty
nice and fun to repair and make solid again :D

Keep up your great work, in the Great White North, it must be freezing and snow covered up there this time of year :D :D

Post some snow pics if you get a chance :D :D

Stay warm !!!

Best Regards,
Ray
