Thanks for the great pictures! You made my mouth water and my knees shake. By the way, what's inside? Battle field pickups like machine guns, pistols, uniforms, helmets, half tracks, Sherman tanks?  John

Great find. Mine is 825 earlier than yours and "born" I guess the same day or +- few days before/after I was born.. the difference is that my jeep is older than me :)

I'm interested on hood numbers.. As I understood, Jim K. used source "X" where this jeep by its s.n's. had other hood number.. So it would be interesting to know, if the hood is original and the data isn't original, the hood isn't original, but the data is original or the data on the source isn't correct.. :)

I think many of us would give our right arm to find vehicles in similar original condition in our own back yard!!

Just amazing!!

Congrats again!!

The Jeep Color code 35127 is not in the recently published book, therefore the Jeep would have belonged to a unit which arrived after D-Day plus two weeks...

The lists we found for the book were only valid for the two weeks after D-Day in Normandy... Still working on the rest of the numbers..

The Dodge probably belonged to a US Army Vth Corps unit
