Re: Original Unrestored 1945 Ford GPW
Hi all,
Does anyone have a better photo of the mirror arm on this GPW please?
I’m trying to get some info and develop a pattern of what was fitted to what.
Thanks,
Ian.

Just been looking at the photos of this jeep again - some years since I last looked - and its just as fine a jeep as I remember.

Re: Original Unrestored 1945 Ford GPW
Hello,
I am glad this jeep has been found again !
Thanks for posting these great pictures of this beauty !
Is it in a museum or private collection ?
If us G members ever get to the area, it would be worth seeing it if it is accessible to the public.
Best Regards,
Ray

It is currently on display (or at least it was in June) in the front lobby of the WWII American Experience Museum along with a survivor 1945 MB. They are behind ropes, and I was told no photography when I got there but at the end of the tour I asked if I could take some pictures of the vehicles up front and the obliged. I wish I could have gotten on the other side of the ropes!70th Division wrote: ↑Sat Sep 09, 2023 6:30 pm
