Need hole location for axe bracket
Hello can anyone give me the measurement for hole location for the axe bracket on my GPW? From center hole to outer fender edge, tried to highlight in yellow.

Re: Need hole location for axe bracket
Hi Doug,
I have downloaded the TheHenryFord.org Ford GPW drawings made available to the public.
I have reworked and enhanced them all.
Unfortunately the very large drawings were poorly scanned and the chassis drawing falls in that category.
However there are a few readable dimensions .
What area of the frame are you interested in?
Here is a sample of the problem
When I need a specific dimension I import that drawing in Sketchup, then a re-scale the drawing on a known size so that I can measure other dimensions.
You will have a privileged access to all available drawings as a G503 member here: viewtopic.php?p=1778950#p1778950
This is thanks to wvblackbear Dropbox.
BTW regarding the frame restoration there is another thread called “Project BamBam” on that forum and on the Thecj2a forum.

Type of drawing shown in the Bambam Project thread :
It gives many dimensions to repair the front of the frame.
