Hello Oz,

Your jeep.is looking awesome, I love the double hood stenciling,
many 70th Division jeeps were done the same way.

You saved more than 6 months of time using a good tub !!!
Believe me !!!

I am working on my leaf springs and rear and later front axles so I can sling them on the finished frame.
It is awesome working on these jeeps , and seeing the progress from what they started as , when found !!

I have a big order coming in from Ron, and Joe's Motor Pool, as well as a few others, to get the last batch of parts .
They are getting scarce, even at JMP.
I pre ordered a set of jmp combat rims from Ron as well , so I will have a set once the arrive !!

Keep up you great works !!

Best Regards,
Ray

That’s funny
First we did WLAs together and tools and stuff and now you did a Jeep. The funny part is I also have a GPW about a 400 lower serial number exactly, GPW 14118 DOD 9-04-42 .Birds of a feather I guess. Looks great! Matt

Hello Matt,

Add to it the fact that we both served in the 11th ACR and it sounds like our fate is intertwined. My GPW is also 9 April 42. Wow. I guess we should coordinate on future projects. You know I am working on an Airborne Compressor Trailer right now. They only made 544 of them so you'd better get looking.

What are you working on lately other than the crate tent?
