Sorry, I just saw this. I removed my much rustier than that glove box door a couple of weeks ago with gentle heat from a propane torch. Obviously it ruined the paint on the bottom of the dash and the hinge, but they all just unscrewed after the surrounding metal got red. Same for the rear tool boxes. The one place I don't recommend heat is the decontaminator screws because the lead washers melt.
