Tower Park April 21-27th 2014

Post by mfrance » Tue Mar 18, 2014 12:50 am

We are anticipating the April 2014 Camp Delta meet at Tower Park Resort will be as big as ever! If you have not attended for 4 or more years be prepared for a full house. If you don't have a campsite reserved (you should check), contact Jo-Ann Lesser at She handles ALL camping requests for the SPRING meet. KOA does not take reservations outside of Jo-Ann's direction (for the September Camp Delta, contact KOA directly). If we have a wait list for campsites, get on it, and consider the motels and hotels in nearby Lodi. If you have a campsite reserved and it is bigger than you need, consider sharing with someone who doesn't need much space. Maybe you are a vendor who sleeps in a hotel - might be nice to have someone camping there where they can keep an eye on your tables.

Rather than repeat the entire event and activity list here, details will be kept current on our listing in the Event Calendar featured on the home page. Also it will appear in the Events forum. Anything new will be mentioned on this thread, and of course all official news we be in the printed MVCC News plus

Hagerty Collector Vehicle Insurance just came aboard as the Presenting Sponsor of the Armor Showcase planned for Friday April 25 at 0830. Their sponsorship includes cash prizes for the People's Choice contest - $200 for First Place, $150 for Second, $100 for Third, and we will have a Voter Door Prize of $75 based on drawing one ballot from the box prior to counting the results. Any of these prizes will sure help with fuel costs! Hagerty will also be providing a prize for the Friday Night Raffle, have an info table at the meet, and will advertise in MVCC News so you'll know how to reach them. Don't forget to stop their booth by and thank Joe for supporting our favorite hobby.
