Hi everyone don't really know where to post this question. I bought a 1947 8N tractor that does not have the original engine it would have started out with 8N. My block has a GP<->8788. So looking on the internet kinda lead me here believe it might be out of a surplus jeep. Any Help would be appreciated
I have GP and GP frame #8788, Let me know if this GP block would be for sale.

Thank you,

Rory

It would make for an interesting story to know why they were separated and a great ending if they were reunited. Almost sounds like a Hallmark channel movie. 😂

Getting the engine back to the jeep would be awesome.

Rory:

Superb job acquiring that matching-number GP engine to your GP and its frame. Miracles still do happen on occasion, the Fates be Blessed. Congratulations! :D
