Re: BRC inner WS frame
Lad, my original was rusted almost beyond recognition. Are you manufacturing an inner frame? If so, I would be interested in one also.

Re: BRC inner WS frame
Hi Brian,
I have just repaired mine, not new production. But the holes to mount the cross member to frame are very large, but I guess according original pics the correct screw are No. 10 round slotted head, but not sure…
But you can try Duncan Rolls or Jimmy Strauss after new frame.

Re: BRC inner WS frame
I believe the BRC inner windshield used binding barrel screws, round head, slotted on both ends (see attached photo). I will do some more research and post when I have more information.

Attached is a photo of an original unrestored BRC that we believe has the original screws for the inner windshield. The design is either two separate slotted round head screws or one binding barrel type screw assembly with slotted round head on each side.

Re: BRC inner WS frame
Thanks George. The outside (front) screw head looks to me little larger diameter than the inside one. On my original frame the outside (front) section has larger hole diameter than the inside (rear) one. See pics. However I can't exclude someone in past has redrilled the hole for some reason...
Beside that, how do you want fasten 2 separate screws passing inside WS frame?
After all these infos I am more for binding barrel type screw.
If the owner of the frame on George's photos could take appart the screws, we would know it sure and could remake these screws for all folk.

Re: BRC inner WS frame
While inspecting an original, unrestored BRC, we found the original inner windshield barrel screws, rusty, but still measurable. Attached photo of one of the screws. We believe this confirms the type of screws used on the BRC inner windshield center divider.
